September 9-18, 2001, Zagreb and Hvar
As part of the exchange of anthropology students between Kyushu University, Kyushu Institute of Design and the University of Zagreb, a scientific-teaching conference Anthropological History of the Croatian Adriatic Area was held in Hvar and Zagreb from 9th to 18th September 2001. The meeting was attended by 26 participants from Japan and 12 participants from Croatia and lectures were held in the field of human ecology and archaeological, biological and medical anthropology. P. Rudan (Croatia) was the President of the Organizing Committee, and K. Yamamoto , A. Yasukouchi (Japan) and N. Smolej Narančić (Croatia) were members of the Organizing Committee.
