Training School on valorisation of Neanderthal heritage through the creation of cultural routes started on Monday, 27 September 2021, in the Gallery of the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb. The Training School is part of the COST Action Integrating Neandertal Legacy: From Past to Present – iNEAL (CA19141) (chair of the Action: prof. Ivor Janković, PhD). Local organiser is Archaeological Museum in Zagreb, and 15 participants from 11 countries are taking part in the School. Trainers are Bärbel Auffermann, Neanderthal Museum, Mettmann, Germany, Vlasta Klarić, Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Croatia, Marko Mele, Universalmuseum Joanneum, Graz, Austria, Sanjin Mihelić, Archaeological Museum in Zagreb, Croatia, and Kasper Rodil, Aalborg University, Denmark. The duration of the Training School is 3 days and participants will gain theoretical and practical knowledge on culutral routes, and visit Krapina Neanderthal Museum and Vindija Cave.
