On Saturday, August 23, 2021, the American Journal of Physical Anthropology published a study entitled “Mass violence in Copper Age Europe: The massacre burial site from Potočani, Croatia” in which the bioarchaeological reconstruction of the Copper Age massacre from Potočani near Požega. The research was led by Dr. sc. Ivor Janković, Ph.D. Mario Novak from the Center for Applied Bioanthropology of the Institute of Anthropology with the participation of colleagues from the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb, the University of Zagreb and the University of Wyoming, USA.
